Day 1: Arusha National Park

After an early breakfast, depart Arusha Town for a 30-minute drive to Arusha National Park. Here you will participate in a half-day walking safari and a half-day game drive. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger during the walk, who will guide you through the forest up to a  waterfall and the point for viewing the black and white colobus monkeys. During the afternoon game drive, you will see the 7 Lakes of Momella and the Ngurdoto Crater. At sunset, you will drive back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Arusha National Park to Tarangire National Park

After early breakfast leaves the lodge and drives for about 2 hours to Tarangire National Park. This park is often referred to as the “home of elephants”. You will have a great opportunity to see elephants in large groups gathering around the Tarangire River. Other animals you may observe include leopards, lions, giraffes, and even tree-climbing pythons.

Dinner and overnight will be at the Lodge/camp.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Following an early breakfast at 6:00 am, enjoy a game drive en route to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is the most famous park in Tanzania, known worldwide for its endless plains, wildebeest migration, herds of lions, and other predators such as cheetahs and leopards. Crocodiles can be found in the Grumeti River, as well as hippos. You may spot other animals such as giraffes, antelopes, and gazelles. We will take a short break for lunch and then proceed with an afternoon game drive until late evening.

Dinner and overnight will be in the heart of Serengeti at a campsite.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day on a game drive in the Serengeti. This is your chance to see predators chasing their prey and enjoying their kill. The Serengeti is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequaled for its natural beauty and scientific value. Your game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti will also give you the chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade of trees.

Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, go for a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park We will bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the park?. Later, depart for Ngorongoro Crater Rim by way of the pre-historic Olduvai Gorge. Enjoy a short stop at the famous archaeological site where Dr. Louis Leakey and his wife Mary Leaky discovered remains of Australopithecus Homo habilis and Homo erectus. Olduvai has a unique landscape that resulted from tectonic forces which created the Great Rift Valley millions of years ago.

Dinner and overnight will be at the campsite on the crater’s rim.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Eyasi

In the morning after breakfast, descend into the crater for a full-day game drive. There is a very high possibility of spotting the big 5 animals such as lions, rhinos, elephants, buffalo, and leopards. Enjoy your lunch at the picnic site on the crater floor. In the afternoon, drive to a camp at  Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Lake Eyasi to Lake Manyara National Park

In the early morning after breakfast, get ready for another adventure where you will go hunting with the Hadzabe tribe (Bushmen). The Hadzabe foragers live in the area of Lake Eyasi and allow us to observe and learn about their primitive life. They wear animal skins, hunt, eat monkeys, and keep their traditions with minimal influence from the outside world. You will experience the culture of true  Bushmen. Later in the afternoon, drive to the top of the Great Rift Valley for overnight with a view of Lake Manyara at the campsite.

Day 8: Lake Manyara National Park

Today spend a full day in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its green scenery, varied bird life, tree-climbing lions, hippos, and baboons. The Lake occupies a large area of the park. The forest begins just after crossing the park gate along the base of the Great Rift Valley and continues to the hot springs to the west of the park.

Dinner and overnight will be at the campsite.

Day 9: Lake Manyara to Arusha

After breakfast, we stop for a short culture tour at Mto wa Mbu village and then drive back to Arusha, where you will arrive in the early afternoon.  We take you to the hotel or airport depending on your departure flight and bid you farewell.
