Our two days safari package to Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park is designed purposely for visitors with time constraints. It is a short but very intense Tanzanian Northern Circuit wildlife tour. You will experience the excitement of an African wildlife safari or even a photographic safari in two of the most spectacular destinations in Tanzania.

Day 1: Arusha to Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a crater tour.  First, we proceed with a game drive throughout the morning. After lunch, you will descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater to view more wildlife in an afternoon game drive until late evening.

Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Crater hosts a vast variety of animals including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another important aspect of this picturesque destination is its dense population of predators including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen here.

Dinner and overnight based on the standard and type of accommodation option requested.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara

Distance: 60km, Travel time: 2 hours

After breakfast, we drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game observation. The park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive, but shallow, soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park), located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants,

Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions (rare), as well as large flocks of flamingos, are attracted by the algae in the lake. After the game drive, we travel back to Arusha where we will end our African safari adventure tour.
